Sam Frost has announced her engagement to boyfriend Jordie Hansen after a whirlwind romance.
The Home and Away actress, 33, revealed she and Jordie are set to marry after five months of dating during the first ever episode of their brand new podcast.
Jordie, 26, popped the question to The Bachelor Australia winner during a road trip to South Australia back in May this year.
The newly-engaged have been celebrating their happy news with a 14 day road trip and sharing their joy with their podcast listeners.
"Jordie Hansen and Sam Frost announce some very exciting news, which prompts them to go on a roadtrip with their dog 'Dingo' to celebrate," the synopsis for the debut installment of Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip podcast reads.
At the start of the episode bride-to-be Sam says: "It's a very important time of our lives, we just recently got engaged and to celebrate we thought, let's hit the road, let's go on a 14-day road trip."
Jordie went on to describe how he asked the actress to be his wife, saying: "We were at Uluru and we had just had brekky and were about to head back down south.
"Sambo had just been delivered her coffee, and so I said, 'Hey, when would you say yes to getting married?'
Sam interrupted to excitedly say: "I said, 'Pretty much anytime from now'."
Jordie continues to explain how he took his now-fiancee's response as a 'yes' and planned to propose that afternoon.
Recalling how he rushed Sam to get to Coober Pedy in time for a sunset setting for his proposal, the Australian Survivor: Blood V Water star says: "[We got there and] I set up the camera in what I thought would be the perfect position, and Sambo's come around and said, 'I know exactly what you're going to do here'.
Sam goes on to admit she had 'no idea' her beau was planning to pop the question.
"I don't remember a lot of it because I was so nervous," the soap star recalls on their new podcast. "I was trying not to cry and just trying to speak. I remember saying something along the lines of, 'Baby, we love jokes but this is not one of them. This is very serious'."
The engaged couple's announcement comes following going Instagram official back in April, and Sam's relocation back to Melbourne to live with Jordie.
The actress - who met her future husband through younger brother, Alex Frost, who also starred on Australian Survivor - said at the time she was 'happy' with the move.
"We have taken the next step and it's nice," Sam told the Herald Sun.
"I feel so happy. Being able to travel again is great."
Sam became a household name thanks to her stint on reality TV show The Bachelor, where Blake Garvey picked her as his winner before dumping her for Louise Pillidge.
Single Sam went on to become The Bachelorette the next year and chose Sasha Mielczarek as her lucky suitor.
The pair actually went on to date for 18 months following the series ending before going their separate ways.
