The 21st edition of Scotland’s largest celebration of cinema will run from February 26 to March 9.

Scottish stars Martin Compston (below, right), James Cosmo, and Solly McLeod will attend the world premiere of the new Amazon Studios-produced thriller Fear on February 27.

The festival will kick off with the world premiere of Tornado, featuring Pulp Fiction star Tim Roth, Japanese model and actor Kōki, Shogun star Takehiro Hira, and directed by Edinburgh's John Maclean.

Formula One champion Damon Hill will attend the world premiere of Hill, a documentary about his career and his relationship with his father, Graham Hill.

Hill (below) will be joined by Sky Sports F1 presenter Simon Lazenby and director Alex Holmes at the premiere on February 27.

Hollywood legends Ed Harris and Jessica Lange will walk the red carpet for the UK premiere of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, a new screen adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s play, on February 28.

The festival will close with the world premiere of Martyn Robertson’s Make It To Munich, the story of Scots teenager Ethan Walker's recovery from a life-threatening traffic accident.

Walker, along with Dunblane surgeon Professor Gordon Mackay, cycled from Hampden Stadium in Glasgow to Munich for Scotland’s opening game of Euro 2024, just nine months after his accident.
