Reese Witherspoon has become the latest celebrity to record a bedtime story for CBeebies viewers, following in the footsteps of Tom Hardy, Dolly Parton and more.
The channel's popular Bedtime Stories programme offers "a different story read each night just before bedtime" - with the books having been read by various celebrities in recent years.
The award-winning actor, 45, will be the latest to narrate a story on the show, with her reading Extraordinary! by Penny Harrison later this month.
The mum-of-three will narrate the story on January 28 and is said to be the first Best Actress Oscar winner take take to the CBeebies Bedtime Stories seat.
The book, released in 2020, tells hows you can discover wonderful things wherever you go. It's said to celebrate moments shared with family and friends - which may be "simple" and "ordinary," but they'll be cherished forever.
Opening the story, Reese says: "The things we see every day can seem a bit… ordinary. But if you stop, and look closer, you’ll see that our world is extraordinary."
Reese is perhaps most notable for her role as Elle Woods in the comedy Legally Blonde (2001) and its sequel, which was released in 2003. She later received acclaim for playing June Carter Cash in the biopic Walk the Line (2005) - for which she won an Oscar.
Her other film credits include romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama (2002) and drama Wild (2014).

More recently, she's produced and starred in TV projects such as Big Little Lies - which ran from 2017 to 2019. She appeared in the show alongside fellow executive producer Nicole Kidman, 54.
She later starred alongside Kerry Washington, 44, in the miniseries Little Fires Everywhere in 2020. Both lead actors were also executive producers on the project.
And she is currently among the cast on the Morning Show. She stars alongside Jennifer Aniston, 52, - who like Reese is an executive producer - in the drama, which debuted in 2019.
Reese is just the latest celebrity to have taken part in CBeebies' Bedtime Stories. Other stars who featured include actor Tom Hardy, 44, singer-songwriter Dolly Parton, 76, dancer Oti Mabuse, 31 and comedian Chris Ramsey, 35.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories is shown on weekdays at 6.50pm.
Reese stars in Sing 2 which is in cinemas 28 January.
