Hollywood actor Paul Rudd has become the latest movie star to join the Wrexham fan club.
Rudd was in town for Wrexham's massive title decider on Saturday night against Boreham Wood.
The Turf pub was the place to be before kick-off, with supporters filling out the bar ahead of the match at the Racecourse. You can follow live updates here.
And actor Rudd, who has starred in films such as Anchorman and Ant-Man and had a recurring role in the hit sitcom Friends, causally arrived at the drinking establishment and enjoyed a pint with locals, happily posing for pictures.
Rudd then went inside for a pint with landlord Wayne Jones. He appeared to recognise a few people in the pub from the successful documentary series Welcome to Wrexham. You can watch the hit documentary on Disney+
Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds and Rudd go way back and are firm friends.
When Rudd was named Sexiest Man Alive, Reynolds told Jimmy Kimmel: “I’m happy for Paul, because, A, he’s possibly the nicest human being in all of show business.
“He’s ageing backward because of his contract with Satan,” he said of the 52-year-old. “Or he only drinks breast milk from a blue whale or something. I heard he does something weird – and I want in.”
Rudd is just the latest Hollywood star to show their support for the Red Dragons, with fellow A-listers Will Ferrell and Hugh Jackman also known to be fans of the club.
