Hollywood star and Wrexham FC owner Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively expecting fourth baby

For many people in Wales Ryan Reynolds is adored, especially by Wrexham FC fans. The Hollywood star co-owns and runs the town's famous football club and has captured hearts with his passionate Tweets about Wales.

Now he is expecting his fourth child with his actress wife Blake Lively. Blake is also famous in her own right having starred in Gossip Girl and the 2011 film Green Lantern.

Blake, 35, confirmed the news while at the Forbes Power Women’s Summit in New York, unveiling her growing baby bump on the red carpet. The couple already have three daughters James, Inez, and Betty.

Ryan and Blake met in 2010 while filming Green Lantern and just two years later married in 2012. The couple keep their personal life very private and rarely share pictures or information about their children.

Ryan has recently revealed he is taking a step back from acting to spend more time with his children. He told LinkedIn News of his decision, he said: "Well, I’ve done a lot of [acting]...The biggest thing for me, and I know you have kids as well, is that I don’t want to miss this time with my kids."

He added: "I really enjoy being a present dad...I love taking them to school in the morning, I love picking them up." Outside of acting Ryan works with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney in owning and running Wrexham football club.

He often visits Wales and Wrexham to watch the games and cheer the players on and has taken a keen interest in Welsh culture, learning Welsh and connecting with the people of Wrexham. There is a new series documenting Ryan and Rob's ownership of Wrexham and the highs and lows they faced called Welcome to Wrexham. You can watch Welcome to Wexham on the streaming site Disney Plus.
