The world famous Horn Milk Bar is fast becoming a magnet for filmmakers and music producers.
The iconic snack stop on the A90 between Dundee and Perth has been used as a filming location four times in the past year alone.
And this is after the visits of TV shows and Vogue fashion shoots in recent years.
The retro landmark - complete with the iconic cow on the roof - already officially holds the title of “The World`s Best Bacon Roll”.
And this week The Horn is playing host to the latest production crew to visit for a pop video to promote a London band called Autoheart.
Producers of the band's latest single - Time Machine from their latest album Hellbent - were delighted to find after a nationwide search that The Horn fitted the location bill perfectly.
Siri Rodnes - who has also directed episodes of River City & Shetland - is in charge of the shoot.
The previous movies filmed on the site included ‘Pram Snatcher’ and ‘A90’ - a modern-day love story set in a roadside diner.
And at the end of 2021 the restaurant closed for 2 days for a Disney production which was rumoured to be called ‘The Wedding Season’.
This adds to an impressive list of production credits including the BBC’s The One Show featuring Phil Tufnell and a Vogue Photoshoot with Edie Campbell & Blondie McCoy.
Other appearances include an STV Indent, The Story of Bacon with Hardeep Singh Kohli and Radio Scotland`s Story of The Horn with Mark Stephen.
The Horn is owned by Kenny Farquharson who said: “The filming was a nice illustration of how a small family business can diversify by thinking outside the box - finding a wee niche in the process.”
His 15-year-old daughter, Gabi, who has appeared in some of the productions, added: “It`s great getting to see behind the scenes and talking to all the crew & cast members.
“I`m loving the experience and getting lots of good advice.”
