Hollyoaks star teases deaths in huge stunt ahead of filming amid family twist

Hollyoaks is lining up a huge stunt, that could see some big deaths later in the year.

Actress Vera Chok, who plays Honour Chen-Williams on the Channel 4 soap, spilled details about what's ahead - and also teased a huge twist surrounding her soap family.

The past is set to come back to haunt them all, as secrets and lies lead to "collateral damage".

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, the soap star hinted there were deaths ahead, and that filming for the big moment will begin in August.

Vera told us: "The stunt coming up is going to be so exciting. There’s definitely a stunt, we are filming the scenes in August for the usual stunt season."

The star added it would be "bigger and better" than before, and teased not everyone would survive.

Asked if there could be a death or two, she replied: "Oh yeah, I can't tell you who though because I don’t know but what is the point of a stunt if there are no deaths?"

Remaining secretive about specific details, Vera hinted her character Honour could be involved in the big scenes, but she denied it would lead to her exit.

She told us: "I just got here, you can't kill me off it's too soon. If I die I want it to be really over the top, a proper controversial death."

Vera also gave cryptic details about an upcoming twist for her onscreen family, teasing viewers needed to watch out for upcoming scenes.

Suggesting the plot was already unfolding, Vera confessed the past would return to haunt the family with huge consequences.

She told us: "It's coming, oh it's coming. The past is going to catch up with us. People have been lying to each other."

Vera teased it would lead to "chaos" before the family attempt to salvage things, but added: "There might be some collateral damage, but it's definitely going to really challenge the whole happy family thing.

"I'd say watch out for the quiet ones in my family. Still waters run deep and all that."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode on E4 at 7pm.
