Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has confirmed that she has given birth to her first child, a baby boy.
The actress, 34, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap shared the happy news on social media that she had welcomed her first child with fiancé Ollie Piotrowski along with the new arrival’s adorable name and first photo of her little family.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, she shared an image of her and Piotrowski both beaming as they proudly carried their newborn out of the hospital.
“Welcome to the family… Our baby boy... Forest,” she captioned her post, followed by two loved-up emojis.
A number of her Hollyoaks co-stars past and present rushed to the comment section to share messages of congratulations.
“Massive congratulations to all of you and welcome to the world Forest! You are SO loved!” penned Jessica Fox.
Chelsee Healey wrote: “OMG FOREST” alongside a plethora of emojis, with Sarah Jayne Dunn adding: “Yay!!!! Well done hunny and congratulations.”
While Jennifer Metcalfe and Nadine Mulkerrin also offered their well-wishes, writing: “Hello little man” and “Congratulations darling xxx welcome earthside Forest”.
The baby came a little early as Porter’s due date was meant to be in December.
She and the 33-year-old property developer announced that they were expecting a child together in June via a video on Instagram which showed Porter, Piotrowski, his son from a previous relationship, and their dog each moving their hands to unveil a scan photo.
“Hopeful beginnings …[sic],” she wrote alongside it.
The news came after Porter bravely revealed that she previously lost quadruplets at 14 weeks in a devastating miscarriage in August 2021.
She then experienced a second miscarriage at six weeks into another pregnancy in February – on the day of the couple’s engagement party.
