Hollyoaks star Niamh Blackshaw has announced her real life relationship with one of her co-stars.
Hollyoaks stars Niamh Blackshaw, 24 and Angus Castle-Doughty, 30, confirmed their new romance in a New Years Eve Instagram post. The actress who plays Juliet Nightingale, cosied up to co-star who plays Eric Foster in a sweet black and white photo in front of a Christmas tree.
Niamh captioned the picture: "Happy New Year [blue heart emoji]”. She then added: "A year of growth, learning, kindness, loneliness, boundaries and acceptance. Ending in a better space than it began."

Meanwhile, Angus shared his own picture of the loved up couple to his followers and said: “HNY [red heart emoji]”. He also took to Twitter and wrote: "2022 saw me move across the country, take the biggest step in my career, the end of a relationship and the beginning of a relationship. I also bought a tank top, so…every cloud.”
Angus only joined the Hollyoaks ensemble in March 2022 and hasn't yet shared many scenes with Niamh's Juliet. In scenes commencing Monday, January 9, Eric Foster is questioned by the police as Maxine Minniver planted evidence showing he was responsible for spiking multiple women’s drinks while spreading gender hate online.
Meanwhile, in recent scenes, it can be said that Juliet isn’t managing too well after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Along with this, she is caught up in a love triangle between Nadira Valli (Ashling O' Shea) and her ex-fiancée Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell).
