Jorgie Porter has declared that she's 'back' to her fans as she shared an update on being a new mum. The Hollyoaks actress has been quieter on social of late, with good reason, after welcoming her first child into the world.
Jorgie, who stars as Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, anounced she had welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski last month. It came after the loved-up pair announced they were expecting in June by sharing an adorable video on Instagram.
At the time, it showed the soap star, her man and their dog moving their hands - and paw - to unveil the special sonogram photo. And fans were thrilled for the pair as the joyous announcement came just months after Jorgie tragically suffered a miscarriage with quadruplets at 14 weeks.

Announcing her son's arrival into the world, Jorgie, from Eccles, again took to Instagram as she captioned a sweet image of the new parents smiling as Ollie carried their son with the words: "Welcome to the family… Our baby boy..." She also confirmed her boy's name to be Forest.
Jorgie, who underwent an elective C-section on November 29 as she welcomed her son, who weighed 8lbs 2oz, has since been enjoying her baby bubble but did take to social media on Tuesday (December 21) to offer a bit of an update. Sharing a snap of her cradling Forest in a sling, the 34-year-old said: "I'm back."
She then shared a video of her comforting her son in her and Ollie's stunning home, which had been decorated with a Christmas tree adorned with pink and silver decorations. "The baby bubble is real," she typed alongside the image before cooing over her little one. "I mean look at his toes," she wrote.
Jorgie then continued on with her update, writing: "In case you're wondering how my days have been going..." before adding: "Lots of this..." as she cleaned up her newborn son as he layed on an animal-printed changing matt. "And this," she added as she got her baby son dressed.
"Think this is the 3rd outfit of the day," she laughed before continuing: "Lots of this.." as she rocked her baby boy before he was, unfortunately, sick on her shoulder. But she then shared a photo of her holding Forest close to her chest as he looked up to the camera with his eyes widened. "Obsessed," Jorgie wrote.
Jorgie has also since posted a series of snaps to her Instagram grid as she remains in awe of her baby boy. "Still pinching myself," she typed. "Can you believe he’s actually here?!" She then added: "Swipe for reality," as she added a series of pictures showing her asleep with Forest also snoozing on her chest.
It comes after Jorgie and Ollie spoke about the arrival of the first child and explained the decision behind his unusual name. "I keep looking at him thinking 'I can’t believe you’re here'," Jorgie said in her first interview since her son's arrival with Hello! magazine. Property developer Ollie, 34, who is also a father to eight-year-old son Alfie, said Jorgie "took the lead" on their baby’s name.
He said: "We got down to two or three options, but we didn’t want him to have a similar name to anyone else in his class at school so we decided Forest was the one. I love the name."
Last August, Jorgie and Ollie discovered during their 14-week scan that Jorgie had lost the quadruplets they had conceived naturally and in February they learned of their second miscarriage at six weeks into the pregnancy – on the day of their engagement party. Jorgie, who has also competed on Dancing On Ice and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, said Forest’s arrival was even more special given their history.
"After what happened, both of us held part of our emotions back during the pregnancy, just in case,” she said to the publication. "People would say ‘Ooh! Next week, he’ll be here’ and we wanted to join in those conversations, but we were careful to not think too much about the future."
Despite getting engaged last year, Jorgie and Ollie's marriage plans are yet to be finalised. But the pair have said they are certain they’d like “more babies”. They added: "When you’ve been through as much as we have, you don’t want to think 'We’ve got something perfect, let’s get more.' If something naturally happens, amazing. If not, we’ll remain so grateful for what we have."
