Holly Willoughby is reportedly set to be joined by two presenters this week as she makes her return to This Morning following Phillip Schofield's axing from the programme and his subsequent decision to part ways with ITV.
The TV star is scheduled to return to This Morning on Monday after an extended half-term break.
On Friday, ITV announced that Holly would be joined by Josie Gibson, who regularly steps in to host This Morning during the summer break.
It's now been revealed that Josie will present with Holly again on Tuesday before Craig Doyle takes over on Wednesday and Thursday.
Craig stood in for Dermot O'Leary alongside Alison Hammond during Holly's extended half-term break.
It's understood Alison and Dermot will present on Friday as usual.
An insider said: "Josie's bubbly personality is just what the show needs to bounce back from a nightmare few weeks. She's larger than life and will ease the pressure on Holly, who viewers will be glued to after the loss of her long time telly partner.
"Craig has also been lined up and it's a sign that the permanent role is his for the taking."
"Viewers have taken to him straight away and, not only is he easy on the eye, but he's a natural in front of camera," an insider told The Sun.
When Phillip's immediate departure was announced, Holly shared an emotional statement.
She said: "It's been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour. The sofa won't feel the same without him."
After it was announced Phillip was parting ways from ITV following an admission of an affair with a younger former colleague, Holly told fans she was "hurt" after being "lied to".
Writing on Instagram, she said: "It has taken time to process yesterday's news. When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.
"It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie."
