Monday's This Morning got off to a rather chaotic start as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield celebrated 20 years of Alison Hammond.
The mother-of-one was completely unaware that she would be marking two decades on the ITV show and thought she was filming her usual Dosh on your Doorstep segment.
In fact, the bubbly broadcaster even believed that she was about to surprise a viewer named Alison and was forced to run quite far down in the street in her hometown of Birmingham.
However, it was Josie Gibson and Kate Lawler who was waiting on the other side of the door for Alison - leaving her absolutely gobsmacked.
"Normally you're doing the surprises. Today the surprise is on you! Happy 20th anniversary on This Morning!" Josie told her.
Kate then revealed that they were getting straight into a waiting car as Alison was being whisked off to her next surprise location.
The 47-year-old star bounded towards the vehicle and fell onto the back seat head first as the live segment descended into chaos.
Holly and Phillip couldn't stop laughing as the mother-of-three said: "We'll see you in a bit girls, be careful! I don't think I've ever seen anyone get in a car like that in my entire... it was like the car swallowed her!"
Phillip, 60, then added: "Ohhhhh I was I was there," as Holly added: "Me too!"
This Morning viewers absolutely loved the segment and took to Twitter to comment.
"Alison Hammond is a national treasure, loving her This is Your Life #thismorning," one person said.
Another tweeted: "#ThisMorning would love love love Alison to win her first NTA award this year. Truly deserves it!"
And a third person added: "#ThisMorning Alison is just looking stunning!!!"
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
