Holly Willoughby updates fans as she returns to This Morning alongside Josie Gibson

Holly Willoughby will return to This Morning on Thursday#, February 3 after more than two weeks off.

The presenter has been missing from the ITV show due to other work commitments, but she's finally making a comeback this week.

Holly, 40, will be joined by Josie Gibson on the daytime show as Phillip Schofield remains in isolation after testing positive for Covid-19.

Rochelle Humes, who replaced Holly during her break, confirmed the news at the end of Wednesday's show, telling viewers: "Holly and Josie will be here tomorrow when they'll be chatting to Spiderman star Tom Holland about his new movie."

Ahead of her return, Holly posted a message to her 7.5 million Instagram followers.

"Morning Thursday," she said as she posed in a pink Beulah London dress.

Holly has been absent from This Morning since Monday, January 17 to film her new television show, Wim Hof's Superstar Survival.

The new BBC series is fronted by Holly and comedian Lee Mack and follows a group of soul-searching celebrities as they embark on an epic adventure of self-improvement under the guidance of 'extreme athlete' and well-being icon Wim Hof.

Meanwhile, Holly's co-host Phillip has been keeping fans updated after testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday night.

Posting the results of his lateral flow test on Instagram at the beginning of the week, Phil wrote: "Well b******s."

"Currently just a slightly sore throat," he added to his three million social media followers.

This Morning continues weekdays at 10am on ITV.
