Holly Willoughby has come under fire by some Dancing on Ice viewers over her rinkside quizzing. The presenter was back fronting the ITV skating competition on Sunday night (January 29) alongside Phillip Schofield.
And there was drama in the rink as the hosts kicked off with a 'brutal' announcement. Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, explained that would be no second chance for any stars to stay in the competition with the usual skate-off scrapped.
Clarifying what it meant for this week's Dancing on Ice result, Phillip said: "And more than ever, they will be hoping to bring the house down because tonight, there are no second chances. We'll combine the judges scores with your vote and then the lowest placed couple will go straight out of the competition. For one week only...there's no skate-off to save them."

As the audience reacted to the news, Phillip's co-host Holly remarked: "I know, it's brutal." Viewers at home were not happy with the change. And there was heartbreak for Michelle Heaton after she became the second celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice after an episode of live musicals-themed performances.
The actress and former Liberty X singer, 43, failed to impress with her skating routine to All That Jazz from Chicago alongside professional partner Lukasz Rozycki. After discovering her fate, Heaton said: "I'm just really gutted. I’ve loved every second of it and I loved everything that I just did there."
And while fans flocked to social media to share their anger over the 'ridiculous' results, others were sharing their disapproval of Holly after her comments to another competitor, Joey Essex. The reality star rounded off the evening with an energetic performance to You’re The One That I Want, from Grease, alongside his professional partner Vanessa Bauer.
After the routine, which saw the pair dressed as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson, The Only Way Is Essex favourite, 32, secured a score of 29 and suggested his and Vanessa's relationship may be blossoming off the ice.
Mum-of-three Holly asked: "Have you got something you want to tell us, you two?" Joey winked and replied: "Danny and Sandy are getting on pretty well, if you know what I mean." Holly then said: "I mean, is it going steady, as they would say in Grease?" to which Joey said: "Of course, yes, always steady."
But Holly's quizzing off the pair's off-screen romance didn't sit well with everyone who was watching. @francescasennett complained: "I feel like this is really unfair on them both. The comments and constructive criticism was completely overshadowed by 6 grown and accomplished adults putting their noses into a business that is not there’s to interfere in. This is supposed to be a skating show and his incredible improvements from week 1 to today we’re completely overshadowed by their love life."
@caz__clairevoyant_medium echoed: "I don’t think it’s anyone’s business but there own." But @christine_tuscher said: "A question that many of us are wondering?!!! Great performance!!" @louiselma27 added: "Good luck to them, life’s too short, go and enjoy!!"
Meanwhile, Holly's dress also caused some confusion. The TV star stunning in a halterneck navy maxi dress which showed off her sensational figure. She also donned a pair of silver heels and accessorised with a dazzling matching bracelet. Meanwhile, Holly's hair was styled in loose waves and she opted for a slick of berry pink lipstick.
But as she posted pictures of her latest look and a video to her millions of followers on Instagram, fans were unsure whether the dress was black or navy. @beverleygriffin said: "Lovely dress , looking fab in black."
While @becky_smith1979 commented: "You look stunning Holly your dress is a beautiful colour I thought it was navy blue?" @shaun.harris.357 posted: "Lady in black is flipping gorgeous." But @paulinedollard said: "This looked black in the show, nice to see it’s actually blue."
