Holly Willoughby terrified as she's forced to rehearse ice trick with Phillip Schofield

Dancing On Ice presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield took to the rink themselves on Sunday.

Hours before the live show, Phillip, 59, shared some behind-the-scenes clips of him and Holly, 41, rehearsing for the main event.

The mum-of-three looked petrified as she and her This Morning co-host stood on podiums, ready to be "pushed" onto the ice rink.

Speaking to his three milllion followers on Instagram on Sunday afternoon, Phillip explained: "Rehearsing a first for us.

"We're about to be pushed out onto the ice on podiums."

Turning to a scared looking Holly, he then asked his This Morning co-host: "You alright back there?"

The blonde beauty could be seen discussing her fears with production staff on the ice, who reassured the star she would "be okay".

"I've edited out your bad language @hollywilloughby," Phillip revealed in one of the captions of his Instagram Stories.

"She's really panicking," he went on to tell his followers, laughing as Holly cowered in the background.

As the calmer one of the pair, Phillip was the star to "go first" when rehearsing the dramatic entrance on Sunday afternoon.

"I can't breathe," Holly could be heard off-camera, as production staff assisted her Dancing On Ice co-host on his test run.

Phillip was clearly having a more enjoyable time, telling his followers "this is fun", as he glided across the ice on a giant podium.

Filming his view, the dad-of-two then turned his attention to his petrified pal Holly, who had begun her journey to join Phillip at the other end of the ice rink.

"You seem to be holding up very tightly @hollywilloughby," Phillip captioned his video, as Holly let out a few squeals as she made her way across the rink.

Completing her mission, Holly was greeted with a round of applause when her podium was parked up next to her co-hosts on Sunday afternoon.

"Safely in position," Phillip wrote, as the Wylde Moon founder could be heard uttering: "Oh my God!"

Brave Holly went on to share all her laughing co-worker's Instagram Stories to her own page, sharing the ordeal with her 7.6million followers.

Later the same afternoon, the stylish star shared a preview of her stunning outfit choice for tonight's live show.

Posing alongside a white backdrop, Holly looked breathtakingly beautiful in an off-the-shoulder floor-length white gown, designed by Emilia Wickstead.

The TV beauty wore her trademark blonde tresses in a chic bob, and added a pair of simple earring to her ensemble to complete the look.

"It’s musicals week on @dancingonice and we welcome the wonderful @arlenephillips to the judging panel…" Holly began her caption on Instagram to her 7.2million followers on Sunday night.

Holly added: "see you on @ itv at 6pm… #hwstyle dress by @emiliawickstead jewellery by @yokolondonpearls shoes by @ginashoesofficial."

Fans rushed to compliment the star on her latest ensemble, with one writing: "You look sensational."
