Holly Willoughby has stunned fans with a rare glimpse into her private life as she got matching ear piercings with her lookalike mum Linda, 75, and daughter Belle, 11, on Saturday.
The This Morning star, 42, took to Instagram to share a rare photo of her family as “all three generations” went to get piercings.
Holly took her mum and daughter to jewellers Astrid & Miyu in London to get some new bling.
She posted snaps of herself, her mum and her daughter in the piercing chair on her Instagram and thanked the shop for taking care of her family and “easing the nerves”.
She was particularly proud of her pre-teen daughter she gushed about how "brave" her daughter had been getting her ears pierced for the first time.
She captioned the post: “3 generations getting their ears pierced... 1st experience for a very brave Belle, I treated myself to a 4th and Grandma went for a 3rd!!!
“Not bad going for 75!!! Life is about making memories... thank you @astridandmiyu for looking after us and easing the nerves...”
But fans were too stunned by the revelation that Holly’s mum is 75 years old, with many ignoring the new piercing news and gushing over her stunning mother in the comments.
One wrote in disbelief: “Your mum is 75?!?! What an absolute goddess.”
“75? We need to know her secret!!” another added.
A third questioned: “Sorry, did you say your mum is 75??”
A fourth penned: "How is her mum 75?!"
Holly’s latest piercing comes three years after she bravely got her lobed re-pierced live on air on This Morning.
Back in 2020, she dared to get her ears pierced in front of millions of fans watching at home, after originally having them done at 12-years-old.
She admitted to co-host Philip Schofield that she’d never had them redone before revealing she would re-pierce them herself each Sunday as she got ready to host Dancing on Ice.
Holly said she had to force the earrings through and “practically re-pierce them” every time.
On Saturday’s post, one fan asked how Belle had found getting her first piercing, asking: “How did Belle find the experience? Really want a piercing but even at 22 it seems quite daunting.”
Holly took the time to reply, praising her daughter in her response: “She was great… excited to do it… so that outweighed any fear I think!”
