Holly Willoughby shares secret to her happy marriage with Dan Baldwin ahead of 16th wedding anniversary

Holly Willoughby has revealed her secret to a long and happy marriage as she gears up to celebrate her 16th wedding anniversary.

The presenter, 42, said ‘I do’ to TV executive Dan Baldwin, 48, on August 4, 2007, at Amberley Castle and have since welcomed three children together: Harry, Belle and Chester.

Ahead of their anniversary, the This Morning star gave fans an insight into what makes a successful marriage – quality time together.

She wrote in her column on Wylde Moon: “August happens to be the month I got married, so it’s always a nostalgic time for Dan and I.

“It will be 16 years this year, which feels crazy in so many ways.

“I often think about us and the glue that binds us together. Every relationship is so unique and different; what works for one couple may not for another,” she continued.

“It’s a bit like developing your own personal recipe that you adapt together and personalise along the way.

“I love nothing better than finding out what my friends or parents believe the secret to their relationship success is – and would love to hear your wisdom too!

“Mine would have to be remembering to carve out real time for each other within the madness of everyday life; everything from making time to talk over dinner at home to date nights.

She concluded: “Whatever you do to keep the spark alive, keep it up!”

Alongside her sentiments, the ITV star shared a sweet photo of her and her husband kissing on the beach, as well as an image from their wedding day.

Recently, Willoughby revealed how her other half wooed her back in the day when asked by her This Morning co-host Craig Doyle.

“Can you remember Dan’s first opening line or gambit?”, Doyle asked her as they discussed chat-up lines on ITV mid-morning stalwart.

To which she quipped: “I actually do, but it’s not for morning telly. It wasn’t really rude, but it was a little bit naughty, so not for morning telly.”
