Holly Willoughby has shared the reason she believes she'd be 'fine' if her TV career ended in a candid new interview. The This Morning star has been missing from the ITV show for a few weeks as she and Phillip Schofield take Easter off.
Holly, 41, did return to screens last Tuesday night (April 12) as she swapped her daytime co-host for Lee Mack as the pair headed to northern Italy to watch a bunch of celebs take on the cold in Freeze the Fear with Wim Hoff.
She'll soon head back to ITV to host The Games alongside Freddie Flintoff. That show will see 12 celebrities prepare to strap on their trainers, pull on their swimsuits and get on their bikes in a series of head-to-head sporting challenges.

Despite work coming flooding in Holly, during a recent interview with MailOnline, the mum-of-three said her role at home is the most important thing to her. On her relationship with husband Dan Baldwin, Holly said: "If my career tanked tomorrow, I know I'd be fine. But if something happened with my marriage or my family, that would be the end of my world."
Holly and Dan have been married for 17 years, having met met back in 2004 when she returned to CITV to co-present Ministry of Mayhem with Stephen Mulhern. Dan was one of the producers on the show.
The couple have since worked together - Freeze The Fear is Dan's show. Holly said they enjoyed some time away from their children Harry, 12, Belle, 11 and Chester, seven, as they filmed the BBC One programme.
"That was pretty special," she said of their latest joint work experience. "Dan and I met through work, we're in the same business, and apart from loving him I have a lot of respect for him and we work really well together. Then we had this time without the kids. We'd sit on the balcony of our hotel room drinking Aperol Spritz and eating pizza."
During the same interview Holly also spoke about overcoming her crippling shyness and proving her critics wrong afte they expected her to just deal with fluffy subjects after bagging her This Morning role 13 years ago.
However, there was a disastrous interview with Gordon Brown back in 2008 where she admits she "mangled" the questions. "I was dreadful," she said of interview which took place in 2009, just two months after she'd became Phillip's new This Morning co-host.
'The worst thing was that so many people in the industry had said I couldn't do that job. I wanted to prove myself. I sat with the producers, discussing it for ages. Then when it came to the interview I was trying to read out questions from the script.
"I was saying words I didn't even understand, mangling up sentences and completely floundering. I was awful. Various critics had said, 'She'll be OK with the fluffy fashion pieces but how will she do a serious political interview?' And they were right. Presenting that show is about being able to do everything from light to serious. I wasn't up to the job."
But Holly's presenting career has since gone from strength to strength and she's had numerous attempts to correct her early mistakes, interviewing three more PMs, Theresa May, David Cameron and Boris Johnson.
