Holly Willoughby shares body positive message as she warns fans against new year diets

Holly Willoughby has reminded her fans to embrace body positivity over the festive season.

The This Morning presenter, 41, wants everyone to remember how they are "perfect just as you are" this December, before diet culture begins to take centre stage in the new year and pressures people into losing weight.

Mum-of-three Holly used her wellness brand Wylde Moon to share her important message earlier this week, as she updated her site with her latest moodboard featuring all the things she plans to do throughout the Christmas period.

The star's important message follows her admission in 2020 that she prefers not to talk about her diet and exercise regime publicly, out of consideration for the many people across the country battling eating disorders.

Crystal guru Holly promoted 'self love hype girl' Bella Davis' Instagram account on her December 2022 Wylde Moon moodboard - sharing a snippet of some of the body positive posts Bella shares on social media.

"Now here’s a little December ‘perfect just as you are’ inspiration from @isabelladavis6…" Holly began writing underneath the screenshot of Bella's Instagram page.

"Before everyone starts dreading the January ‘new me, new body, new diet! Thanks Bella," the TV star added as she concluded her message to fans.

Holly has constituently rallied against diet culture over the years and famously refused to speak about her 'post-baby' body after the birth of each of her three children.

Speaking with Prima magazine in 2020, Holly discussed her body images concerns and admitted: "I don’t want to encourage eating disorders.

"I try not to focus too much on my appearance. As long as I’m being healthy, that’s good enough for me.

"I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing."

The Dancing On Ice presenter went on to add: "I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people's diets.

"I just can't contribute to that."

Holly shares children Harry, 12, Belle, ten, Chester, seven, with her husband, TV producer Dan Baldwin.

The TV presenter was in the public eye throughout each of her three pregnancies and her fans watched as her figure changed before and after giving birth.

But Holly has refused to ever comment on how much weight she gained or lost during her journey to becoming a mother-of-three.

She previously told the Daily Mail how she hates all the stigma surrounding women losing their 'post baby weight', saying: "Everyone’s journey is individual.

"I don’t want to go on the record saying I did this or that, and then have other women read it and think they have to go and do the same."
