Holly Willoughby has branded Matt Hancock 'smart' for influencing the I'm A Celebrity vote with telling comment on the ITV show.
As she sat down with Phillip Schofield and Olivia Attwood to discuss the latest episode of the ITV jungle show, talk soon turned to Matt Hancock no longer being voted for the trial tonight after many on the trot. Instead, Babatunde, Boy George and Chris Moyles will take on Angel of Agony on tonight's episode, stopping Matt's voting run.
The trio discussed why Mr Hancock might not have been chosen tonight - with Holly and Phil wondering whether people had started to 'warm' to the Tory MP, and that's why he found himself off the list.
However, Phil was quickly to throw in his own theory, whilst Holly branded Mr Hancock "smart" for influencing the vote with a comment he had made during the latest visit to the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
Discussing the latest episode, Olivia Attwood - who was forced to pull out the show just two days into the programme - shared: "I just think viewers are bored - they want someone else to have a go."
Holly then added: "He's brilliant at the trials, he's not squealing. He's almost in a meditative state where he doesn't actually say anything," whilst Olivia revealed: "I wanted some fear, and there was no screaming. We want the dramatics."
Phil then went on to say how Babatunde Aleshe knew he was going to be voted for the first heights trial, after he failed to take part in the opening challenge, which saw him, Charlene White and Jill Scott dangled off a high platform.
"It would seem that the voting pattern is all about torture - who is going to react the worst. No one votes anyone in because they're brilliant at it, which is why you get this vote suddenly changing," Phil added, "Matt is taking this really rather seriously and last night, he said he was looking forward to it happening and as soon as he said that, I thought, that's your last one then."
Holly then chimed in and agreed with Phil, adding: "That's quite smart actually."
It comes after hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly encouraged viewers to vote for other stars to do the trials.
"If you want other people to do the trial, you've got to vote for them. If you want to see other people in the show you've got to vote for those other people," Ant shared recently.
"Because as we know the trials take up, what a third of the show? It's the first part of the show and it's normally a big part of the show. So if you're missing people and you want to see them, vote for them."
