Holly Willoughby is missing from This Morning today, following the departure of Phillip Schofield, but her return date has already been confirmed.
Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond greeted viewers to the ITV programme this morning following an explosive weekend.
On Saturday Phil announced he would be stepping back from This Morning after more than 20 years on screen. In a statement he said it had been a "difficult" week, after rumours of his feud with Holly reached fever pitch.

He said: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.
“Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.
“So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month.”
Holly will continue to host the morning show and was due to be on screen this week, but in light of this weekend's events she has decided to take an early half term break.
Holly's return date was confirmed by Dermot on today's show. He said: "Holly is now taking a break over the half term. She will be back in the studio in two weeks on Monday June 5."
Following Phil's departure Holly released her own statement, she said: "It’s been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour. The sofa won’t feel the same without him.”
