Holly Willoughby's Dancing on Ice co-host a 'done deal' as ITV bosses look for Phillip replacement

The ITV star who will replace Phillip Schofield as Dancing on Ice host next year, is said to be a 'done deal' and it's someone Holly Willoughby is no stranger to./

Following growing speculation of a 'feud' between him sand Holly, Phillip took to Instagram in May to announce to his followers that he was leaving his job as This Morning presenter, after 21 years on the daytime show, whilst assuring them that he was still going to be working with ITV and would still be involved with other programmes.. However, things then escalated just a week later when Phillip released a statement admitting to an affair with a much younger This Moring runner, something he kept from his family, bosses, lawyers and agents.

In light of his confession, Phillip left ITV with immediate effect, throwing the British Soap Awards into chaos, as organisers had just a few days to find a replacement host. That ended up being British showbiz icon Jane McDonald and, after she did such a god job fronting the annual event, her name was put in the frame to also take over from Phillip on Dancing on Ice, with ITV execs said to be very impressed by her.

HIs nearest rival in the betting as things stand is Dermot O'Leary, who recently presented This Morning alongside Holly for two consecutive weeks. second on 6/4 and Alison Hammond on 2/1.

Other runners and riders on the list include Rochelle Humes (5/2) and Josie Gibson (3/10, with Jordan Banjo, brother of Dancing on Ice judge Ashley, currently on 4/1.
