Holly Willoughby's bad language edited out as she and Phillip Schofield perform ITV Dancing On Ice first

Phillip Schofield shared a comical moment from backstage at Dancing On Ice as he and Holly Willoughby rehearsed a first for the celeb skating contest.

The presenters giggled as Phil filmed a video for Instagram Stories as they prepared for tonight's show (Sunday February 20) together.

The 59-year-old, from Oldham, shared a clip captioned 'rehearsing a first for us' and with another he wrote 'I've edited out your bad language @hollywilloughby.'

The footage showed the pair rehearsing being pushed out onto the ice on platforms for the ITV reality contest.

And Phil was amused by how much Holly was panicking.

"We're about to be pushed out onto the ice on podiums," he explained through his laughter.

It was a change for the duo who usually stand rinkside.

And a crew member reassured Holly: "It'll be okay. I promise it will be alright."

In another clip Phil said into the camera: "She's really panicking."

And Holly said: "I'm never going to be able to let go."

As Holly was skillfullly pushed safely into position across the rink Phil poked fun at his pal by writing with a vomiting emoji: "You seem to be holding on very tightly @hollywilloughby."

And after performing the stunt for real on the live show Phil celebrated: "You didn't scream."

"Maybe just a little tiny bit," she told him jokingly.
