Holly Willoughby posts photo of herself in bed and leaves fans asking the same question

Social media users had a few questions for Holly Willoughby when she posted a recent photo on her Instagram page.

The This Morning star left her followers raising eyebrows when she posted a photo of herself in bed - fully clothed with her makeup and hair done.

Holly wrote alongside the snap: “Happy Sunday! If you’re anything like me, your ideal Sunday starts off with a lie-in followed by breakfast in bed (a girl can dream)..."

But fans were quick to call the star out on her apparently fresh-out-of-bed look. “So u go to bed fully dressed & wake up fully made up?” one person asked.

Another commented: “Why you wearing clothes in bed!!!?”

“Wish I could wake up looking like that!” a third person replied with a laughing emoji.

Others pointed out that the photo wasn’t likely to be a candid snap, with Holly making clear in the post that the photo was posted as an advert for a homeware brand.

The presenter has her own bedding range at Dunelm, where she has chosen her own selection of floral designs. But that didn’t stop Instagram users questioning how realistic the photoshoot was.

“Who goes to bed in a cotton jumper?” one person commented.

Another said: “You look lovely Holly but no one looks that well on Sunday morning after [a] hard week at work.”

Nevertheless, fans still flocked to show their appreciation for the star’s post, which has racked up more than 17,000 likes so far.

TV star Bradley Walsh also took to the comments section to let Holly know what his ideal Sunday looked like. “Mines a cup of decaf and back to back ‘place in the sun’ with a bit of ‘Columbo’ thrown in and maybe a ‘Cowboy movie later on,” he wrote.

The presenter regularly shares snaps of her This Morning wardrobe with her 7.7 million Instagram followers, as well as recently sharing clips from BBC’s Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof which she presents alongside comedian Lee Mack.
