Holly Willoughby has admitted she is preparing for 'new challenges' with her oldest son as the years draws to an end.
The mum-of-three, 41, shares Harry, 13, Belle, 11 and Chester, eight with TV producer Dan Baldwin.
The This Morning host is notoriously private about her brood, but recently opened up about what she thinks the new year may bring for her kids.
"My oldest is 13 now and the relationship changes hugely," Holly told us.
"You know, they sit at the table with you and you are talking about things that aren't just about what they got up to at school that day, it’s about how they view and see the world.
The Celebrity Juice star continued: "Looking ahead to next year, as I’m sure any parent would say, with every year brings new challenges, but the flip side of that is that you’re watching these little humans grow and develop and become fully formed people so I think I’m just looking forward to what’s next to come with them and seeing who they are turning out to be."
Holly added she was looking forward to seeing how her children develop, pointing out she was just a 'spectator who offers a helping hand.'
The Wylde Moon founder rarely shares snaps of her kids on social media, telling This Morning fans she chooses "not to put my children’s faces on Instagram because I know once they’re out there, they’re for public consumption."
However, Holly did reveal her youngest son Chester was playing Santa in his school play during a festive segment on the ITV show.
After Matilda the Musical’s performed live on the programme, Phil told Holly she should show the clip to her son, ahead of his school play to give him some inspiration.
“You are going to play that back to your Chester this evening, as he’s got his part coming up,” Phil predicted.
"Yes, tomorrow, Holly replied, before she explained: “Probably lots of you are going to Nativity’s or school end of term Christmas plays, Chester has got his tomorrow and he is Santa.”
Squealing with excitement as she did her best Will Ferrell impression from Christmas classic, Elf, she added: “He’s Santa, which is quite exciting!”
Phil revealed his colleague had messaged him about the exciting news, sharing: “She what’s App-ed me yesterday afternoon saying Chester is Santa – yay!”
Revealing what her son would be wearing to play the festive role, Holly confirmed: “There’s been lots of pillows stuffed down everywhere."
