This Morning viewers were left asking 'where's Holly' after Holly Willoughby went 'missing' from the programme. The ITV daytime show returned to screens on Monday morning (June 26) but fans were in for a surprise as it wasn't the show's usual main host at the helm.
Instead, they were greeted by Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson who did the usual crossover with Lorraine Kelly on her self-titled ITV show to tease what was to come on the first edition of This Morning of the week.
And then, when viewers turned in for the two-and-a-half-hour episode, they weren't welcomed by the popular hosting duo themselves. Instead, they were treated to a performance from Elton John - sort of - fresh from his epic night at Glastonbury on Sunday (June 25).

While they may not have woken Elton from his post-Glato slumber and roped in one of his tribute acts for an energetic performance of I'm Still Standing, they also didn't appear to get Holly back from the festival in time.
After Elton's sing-song and before revealing what was to come on the show, Craig told viewers watching at home: "Holly is off today but she'll be back tomorrow." However, it didn't stop people commenting on social media, with some describing Josie and Craig's return a welcome 'surprise'.
@johnlennonsboot tweeted: "Where's Holly this morning 'is she ok?' #thismorning," referencing her statement read out on air following her return to the programme two weeks after the scandal surrounding her former co-host and pal Phillip Schofield broke.
@gffcontwitch moaned: "Where's Holly? Another one who hasn't turned up for work #ThisMorning #itvThisMorning," to which @BeddoesJill replied: "Well, she went to Glastonbury. Day off maybe?" While @SpannaD added: "Well that’s a surprise… dream team is back!!! #itvthismorning #thismorning."

Holly's absence does come after she was spotted sporting a festival-ready look as she boarded a helicopter alongside her husband Dan Baldwin and some pals to the annual music event in Somerset. She was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a chic, colourful jacket said to cost £1,000, which she paired with some chunky black boots.
She topped off her look with a large hat and a pair of oversized sunglasses as she headed to the three day festival, which was headlined this year Arctic Monkeys, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Sir Elton John. TV proudcer Dan, who has been married to the presenter since 2007 and share three children together, opted for a more casual look, wearing a simple pair of shorts and a T-shirt as he joined his wife on the helicopter ride.
Holly and Dan were later reportedly spotted enjoying the weekend's festivities with former footballer Peter Crouch and his wife and model Abbey Clancy.
