Holly Willoughby is one of a number of stars who have thrown their support behind a campaign to save Neighbours after it was confirmed the long-running soap will be axed.
The programme, which now airs on Channel 5 in the UK after making the switch from BBC, has been on screen for 37 years, but over the last few weeks speculation surrounded its fate, particularly after Channel 5 announced that they were cutting ties.
That left production company Fremantle with an uphill battle to secure its future and, on Thursday, a post on Neighbours' Twitter account broke the news that, rumours from Wednesday night were true, and the soap will cease filming in just a few months time.

The tweet read: "We are so sorry to say that after nearly 37 years and almost 9000 episodes broadcast we have to confirm that Neighbours will cease production in the summer.
"To our amazing, loyal fans, we know this is a huge disappointment, as it is to all of us on the team. We thank you for all your messages and support and promise to end the show on an incredible high. From here on, we are celebrating Neighbours."
It ended: "Following the loss of our key broadcast partner in the UK and despite an extensive search for alternative funding, we simply have no option but to rest the show."
News of Neighbours' axing caused upset amongst the shows UK fans and one of them is This Morning and Dancing on Ice host Holly, who has urged other viewers to follow her lead and sign a petition on Change.org to save the soap
In a video shared on the Save Neighbours' campaign Twitter account, Holly says: "I can't believe that Neighbours may no longer be on our screen.
"I have loved it and I will shed a tear if it's not on our screen anymore."
The video features other celebs like Gloria Hunniford, Lorraine Kelly, Christine Lampard and ex Neighbours actress turned popstar and Masked Singer winner Natalie Imbruglia.
The campaign has also been supported by Lesley Joseph, Christopher Biggins and ITV news reader and Loose Women host Charlene White.
