Holly Willoughby gave a warning to This Morning viewers to "buckle up and hold on tight," before the show had even started on Thursday, clearly fearing the worst as she revealed that Gino D'ACampo would be making an appearance.
The last few weeks have been a turbulent time for the ITV programme, after the accusations levelled at Holly and co-host Phillip Schofiel d that they 'jumped the queue' at Westminster Hall. Both This Morning and Holly herself have refuted the claims, with This Morning saying in their statement that Holly and Phillip gained access to cover the Queen's lying in state with 'the rest of the world's media' and Holly,. in a pre-recorded speech, telling viewers that she and Phillip "would never jump a queue."
While some critics continue to sign a petition to get Phillip and Holly off This Morning, a counter petition has since been set up in support of the pair as they've continued to host the daytime show this week, with fans backing them. and hitting out at online trolls. After a noticeable lack of posts on her Instagram in the aftermath of the 'queue jump' allegations, Holly has also been very active on the platform this week, going back to posting behind the scenes shots of her before cameras have started rolling.

Holly uses the photos to tell her 8 million followers where her outfits for each show are from, as well as teasing what's coming up on that day's show. And it was next to an on set picture of herself ready for Thursday's This Morning studio, that Holly had a word of warning for anyone thinking of tuning in as TV chef Gino prepared to join her.
She wrote: " Morning Thursday… today is a @iamginodacampo takeover on @thismorning … buckle up and hold on tight!… see you at 10am also joined by the truly lovely @staceysolomon talking about her new book and also the always fabulous @richard.e.grant talks about his most personal book yet… see you soon"
While Gino didn't comment on the post, fellow guest Stacey was quick to react, telling Holly: "Can't wait." Following a lengthy absence from the show, as he headed back to Italy, Gino recently returned to This Morning, for his own mini-series about his time in Sardinia.
