Holly Willoughby has shown her support for her This Morning co-star Clodagh McKenna as she shared some exciting personal news. Fans are used to seeing the pair together on the ITV daytime show when the Irish chef takes up her role in the kitchen.
However, they have been creating a firm friendship off-screen and enjoyed a girls night out last month. Holly and Clodagh headed out to the opera and alongside a video of the performers taking their final bows to an impressed audience, Holly typed on her Instagram Story: "Magical night again from the @englishnationalopera Tosca!"
She then shared a follow-up post with her millions of followers, which featured a selfie of her and Irish chef Clodagh at the London Coliseum. She added a curtain effect to show the smiling pair appearing from behind a theatrical red curtain before writing: "Beautiful night @englishnationalopera with this beautiful lady @clodagh_mckenna."
And now Holly has rushed to show Clodagh her support as she launched a new business venture. Clodagh took to Instagram to share a video of herself revealing a project she had secretly been working on. Appearing outside a shop adorned with Christmas trees at the door, the TV star could be seen with an apron bearing her own name.
As she walked along a sign was seen also bearing her name before she stood infront of another of the shop's doors. Beaming from ear-to-ear, Clodagh announced: "It is my first official Clodagh store here in England!"
Writing alongside the video, she said: "And it’s open!!! My first ever CLODAGH STORE @clodaghstore. Located in the Courtyard at @retreatelcotpark just outside Newbury. Open 7 days a week. Come see me!!!"
She added: "Thank you and love to all my amazing team for helping me make this happen Kat Thomas, Treena @boonholt & Brian Griver and of course my biggest supporter @harry_m_herbert."
And Holly, 41, was among the first to respond. The TV host replied: "Babe you did it…" before adding: "Congratulations," with a red heart emoji. She also shared the video to her own Instagram Story, adding a GIF that read: "Congrats," and a sparkling heart.
Fellow This Morning presenter Alison Hammond also responded to the post, writing in the commented: "Congratulations Clodagh!! How lovely." Lisa Snowdon replied: "Huge congratulations! I can’t wait to come and visit."
Angela Scanlon commented: "Looks incredible. I’m drooling." Actor Richrd E Grant also gave his approval, typing: "Bravo bravo BRAAAAAAVOOOO, Clo!" While singer Imelda May added: "Huge Congratulations!!!!!! Yahoo!!!!!"
