Holly Willoughby interrupts interviewee with another coughing fit as Phil steps in

Holly Willoughly was forced to apologise live on ITV's This Morning once again for bursting into a coughing fit as she and Phillip Schofield wrapped up an interview with Marsha Thomason, star of The Bay.

The pair were speaking to The Haunted Mansion star about the ITV police drama and her life in LA - where she has lived for 20 years - but as they were finishing, Holly stifled a cough which lead to her apology to viewers.

It comes just weeks after the 42-year-old rushed off set to as she was caught off guard by a tickle in her throat and needed to take a moment to compose herself and drink some water.

After speaking with Marsha, Holly said to the camera once she'd cleared her throat: "Can I just apologise for coughing..."

"Are you alright?" Phil asks, concerned. "It's when it gets [stuck in your throat], nightmare. Tickle. Just a nightmare."

Holly continued: "Right, still to come. I'm going to go to the doctor." After introducing the next segment in which Dr Nighat was talking about Shingles, Phil jokingly said to his co-host: "If you'd had done that two years ago, you'd be outside by now."

Holly, still coughing, responded: "I know. They've have shot me."

Viewers soon took to Twitter to voice their concern.

One user wrote: "Holly really needs to sort that persistent cough out ......." while another said: "Holly's always coughing!"

A third commented: "Are they all on vapes everyone is coughing #thismorning"

Just two weeks ago, fans were concerned for Holly with many asking if she was "dying" after the blonde ran off camera with Phil asking if she was okay to continue with the show. Read more on that here.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
