Holly Willoughby hinted at 'feud' MONTHS ago as she expressed importance of 'kindness'

Holly Willoughby appeared to have hinted at her "feud" with Phillip Schofield months ago in a revealing interview where she expressed how much "kindness and patience" mean to her.

The This Morning host, 42, is said to have cut all contact with co-star Phil, 61, amid reports their relationship has "cooled".

The best of friends have worked together for the past 14 years and often holidayed together, but Phillip recently explained things had "not been easy" for him and Holly, leaving her "blindsided" by his unexpected public statement.

Back in March, Holly gave an interview to her lifestyle and guidance brand Wylde Moon, where she explained the most important attributes she looks for.

Holly said: "Since embarking on this WYLDE MOON journey I feel like the blinkers are off and I’m much more open to trying different things.

"Whether I’m reading about alternative therapies or giving them a go, I understand that it’s about opening up and finding out what feels good – and actually, on the flip side, saying no to things that don’t feel good!

“I think kindness and patience are the most important attributes in life.

"Whilst I feel it’s in everyone to be kind, personally, patience is something that I have definitely had to learn.

"I think when you live a fast-paced life, the urgency of your needs and expectations mean you’re permanently looking for short cuts to make things happen quickly.

"The big truth (as I’ve come to learn it) is that anything in life that’s worth having, is worth building up to and waiting for.

"It’s the delayed gratification that makes all of it worth the wait! Kindness and patience are totally non-negotiable for me – and should be for everybody."

Amid growing reports of a feud, Phillip put out a statement where he said things had not "been easy" for him and Holly, fuelling more speculation the pair were no longer close as they once were.

It has also been suspected Phil could be facing the axe from the show if his on-screen chemistry with Holly is lost.

A ITV 'bloodbath' is believed to be taking place over the summer with more roles set to face the chop as they plan for a "new look This Morning" and many "feel it is time for some fresh blood" on the show, an insider told The Sun.

This Morning boss Martin Frizell, who has been in charge since 2016, is also reportedly facing the end of his time on the show.

Whilst Holly, who is said to be finding the backstage gossip 'toxic', has also considered quitting the show.

A source claimed to the Mirror: "By removing herself from the situation she could protect herself better."
