Holly Willoughby shared an update from the This Morning studio on Tuesday, despite the show being cancelled for a few days.
During Monday's instalment of the daytime show, it was confirmed the programme would be taken off air until Friday. This Morning has been dropped in favour of World Cup coverage on ITV.
Phil told viewers: "The World Cup is on ITV for the next few mornings so Alison and Dermot will be with you on Friday. We will see you next week."

When Holly and Phil present the programme, Holly usually shares a photo of herself on Instagram, flaunting her outfit for that day's episode. She also teases what viewers can expect, as well as sharing where her clothes and accessories are from.
On Tuesday, despite there being no show, the 41-year-old did just that. Holly posed in the studio as usual, wearing a black mini dress with white lace detail.
She paired the outfit with black tights and black pointed heels. Her hair was casually tucked behind one shoulder, and she had a subtle makeup look.
Captioning the snap, Holly explained why she was in the studio. She said: "Good morning… @thismorning is not on your screens today but we are filming some festive fun for a later show!"
Fans were quick to compliment the mum-of-three. Rebecca said: "Wow, love this dress", while Kay said: "Looking good Holly". Michelle said: "Just beautiful".
This Morning returns on Friday at 10am on ITV and the ITV Hub
