Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be breathing a sigh of relief this evening, as the TV duo's This Morning return date has been confirmed.
Holly, 41, took to social media earlier today to reveal exactly when she and her co-host Phil will be back on the famous blue sofa, amid backlash online about how long the two stars have had off.
The duo - who have been presenting the ITV show together since 2009 - last hosted a live edition of This Morning on December 9 2022, with Josie Gibson, 37, and Andi Peters, 52, covering for them while they enjoy their time off.
Pre-recorded Christmas specials featuring both Holly and Phil aired over the festive period, but the duo have been away from the studio for the last few weeks.
Sharing a snap of herself and Phil laughing together on the show, Holly told her Instagram followers this afternoon how she will be back on This Morning tomorrow morning.
"We’re coming for you… see you tomorrow!!! … so excited!" Holly told her fans in the caption to her picture, "@thismorning @schofe 10am @itv."
"Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow," one fan wrote underneath Holly's update, as another added: "You have been missed...Happy New year to you both."
A third quipped: "Thank god [you're] back, please come back full time."
Thanks to their lengthy break from This Morning over recent weeks, Holly and Phil have been missed by many fans of the ITV show - but some have taken aim at the amount of time the pair have had off.
As Josie and Andi presented the show last week, the former Big Brother star told viewers: "But this isn't any old This Morning, this is your first of 2023!"
One fan took to social media as the show aired to write: "B****y Hell! How many weeks do Phil and Holly need off?"
"Philip and Holly taking more time off, bah," another added on Twitter, as a third quipped: "The A-Team are in, everybody in the studio, the full-timers are back working... Oh no, we're stand-ins, sorry."
Critics and fans alike will be pleased to see Holly and Phil back on the This Morning sofa tomorrow.
