It was a "happy Monday" on ITV's This Morning on April 25 as presenter Holly Willoughby giggled following a blunder on the show. Alongside fellow presenter Phillip Schofield, the duo were back on the morning show.
With a packed line-in for the Monday show, it was Holly who was quick to confess to breaking "rule number one of the presenting handbook". As usual, the pair teased what was to come on the first show of the week before heading over the famous sofa where they sat down with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in his first in-studio appearance on the programme.
After chatting to Sir Keir, where he slammed 'rank misogyny' directed towards Ashton MP and Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner and spoke about the on-going 'Partygate', Holly and Phil took the show to an ad break. Upon returning to the show a a few minutes later, Holly appeared to be unprepared to resume hosting and as the cameras started to roll, their was a brief pause before Holly quickly said: "And welcome back," before she burst out laughing.

"I was actually just watching us on the monitor," the 41-year-old confessed. "Then I was like 'oh my god I'm watching and we're actually on.'" As reported by Manchester Evening News, Phillip gave his co-host a joke telling off by saying: "You can't watch the tele if you're on it.," to which Holly replied: "I know, rule number one of the presenting handbook, I'm sorry".
Clearly lost for words at his co-host's blunder, the 60-year-old simply added: "Wow" as Holly continued to giggle before she said: "Happy Monday!" The pair then carried on with programme.
Later in the programme, Holly appeared to take a dig at former ITV co-star Piers Morgan ahead of the launch of his new TV show tonight. On This Morning, Holly and Phillip discussed a preview of the explosive Morgan-Trump interview which has already caused drama between the interviewer and interviewee. Among other things, it will see the pair discussing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
"He’s never [been] a fan of Meghan, has he?" Holly said, referring to Mr Trump. "Right from the get-go he’s been quite opinionated.
He seems to blame her for all of it." Camilla Tominey, who was on the show for new segment, This Morning's View' added: "Also, he’s talking to Piers Morgan who isn’t a fan of Meghan either".
