Holly Willoughby has shared a plea with her followers as she takes a break from This Morning. The presenter won't be on the ITV daytime show for the next two weeks after hosting her last show last Thursday (March 30).
During her last week on the show before her Easter break, Holly was joined by two familiar faces as she was left to fly solo without her usual co-host Phillip Schofield. With the latter taking the week off, the 42-year-old blonde beauty was joined at the helm of the popular programme by Alison Hammond.
And following the all-female takeover, Holly was joined by Joel Dommett as The Masked Singer host made his presenting debut on the show after years of appearing as a guest.
Following his last stint on the show - for now - Joel shared a beaming selfie of himself and Holly on the famous sofa to his Instagram Story and said: "So much fun! A huge thanks to @hollywilloughby for taking me through everything."
He added: "An absolute delight of a human." Holly was then quick to respond to the nice message by typing alongside the post on her own Stories: "Awww... thank YOU! X."
The following day, Holly asked fans to 'wish her luck' as she kickstared her lengthy break away from the small screen. The mum-of-three took to her social media page on Friday (March 31) to share a sweet moment she shared with her children - Harry, Belle and Chester -on her last day on This Morning.
"Favourite interview of the week…" Holly penned to her millions of followers alongside a photo showing her sat on the famous ITV daytime sofa on Thursday (March 30) with three very special guests alongside her. "The kids popped into @thismorning as they have broken up from school, Soooo lovely having them there. They have grown so much since the last time they were here," she went on.
The blonde beauty added: "So that’s me for two weeks… I’m off to be with them and see if I can break the record for the most chocolate eggs consumed in 24 hours… wish me luck!"
But Holly hasn't been able to remain silent as she returned to social media on Monday (April 3) and begged her followers not to 'be fooled'. Posting a screengrab to her Instagram Story, it showed an Instagram account that had been set up in her name.
The bio claimed to be the broadcaster and said the account was private "just for connecting with my fans". Typing alongside the image of the account, Holly said: "Please don't be fooled by this..." She added: "It's not me," alongside a disappointed face emoji.
Holly and Phillip are currently being replaced on This Morning by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. The show's usual hosting duo, who appears at the helm from Monday through to Thursday except for the half-term and summer holidays, are expected to be back on screen on Monday, April 17.
