Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield clearly felt too emotional as they embraced presenting live on This Morning. The duo were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Thursday (July 7) but it was all change. Instead of appearing live from their usual studio, the presenters were making use of the dry weather.
That's because Holly, Phillip, members of their This Morning family and the crew all headed of to the show's very own forest. It was revealed last year that ITV had purchased a piece of woodland area. The announcement came amid the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (Cop26) with the broadcaster saying it purchased the forest as part of a drive to 'go green' and stop the area from ever being built on.
Today's show is only the second time Holly and Phillip have hosted from the outdoor space and they made sure it was worth it by throwing their own 'forestival'. Of course it came amid the breaking news coming out of Downing Street that Boris Johnson was set to resign as Tory leader and Prime Minister.

But it didn't stop them having a good time, with their festival-style clothing and wristbands on and plenty of segments and live performances to keep themselves - and viewers entertained.
And they made sure not the leave out one key segment behind - Spin To Win. While the usual wheel and balls stayed back in London an new cardboard version of the wheel appeared while Holly's usual balls were swapped out for pinecones that had the different prices written on them.
After a few technical errors and delays due to their location, Phillip, 60 and Holly, 41, eventually got through to Chris from Southampton. "I’m so excited," she exclaimed as Phillip give the make-shift wheel a spin before it landed on the biggest figure up for grabs - £3,000.
The emotional winner could then be heard crying off-screen. "Do you have an idea of what you’d use the money for?" Holly enquired. Pushing through her tears, Chris replied: “Just to pay bills and help my girls." As the sound caught up, Holly said: "I think she’s really overwhelmed, well, listen, I’m so happy you picked up the phone today and it was you."
Wanting to speak more to the viewer, Phillip asked about why she was so emotional to which she replied: "I have a disability and all my appointments have been cancelled and I’m due to go in today to have joint injections done," she said still crying. Chris added: "I worry about the finances as the girls have to do a lot of running around for me and I feel guilty as I have to do that, but this just lets me say thank you to them so thank you so so much."
"Oh my goodness," Phillip said as he started to appear overwhelmed. Holly then said: "You couldn’t have been a better person to pick up the phone."
But an emotional Phillip then made the heartwarming decision to double the caller’s prize money. "Do you know what we’re going to do? We’re going to double it," he said as he gestured to himself and his co-host. "You’ve got £6,000!" they cheered. Before Chris was given the chance to say one more thing.
"Can I just say thank you so much for getting me through the lockdown and isolation," she continued. "I’ve been in as without you two making me laugh and smile my world would have been a different place, so thank you, thank you thank you." As the caller put down the phone, Holly said: "You just never know who’s going to pick up the phone."
She then turned to Phil who appeared to be fighting back the tears and the mum-of-three quickly pulled him into a hug. And the moment also got This Morning viewers right in the feels too. @positivitygal tweeted: "Omg I'm crying! What a truly lovely woman and a wonderful, kind gesture Phil and Holly.
