Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh's BBC1 holiday quiz show Take Off has been axed, according to reports.
The popular presenting duo looked to have a scored a sure fire ratings win when they launched the prime-time quiz show that saw audience members compete to win luxurious holiday destinations.
Produced by Holly's husband Dan Baldwin, the show which aired last year wasn't a hit with viewers and is now reported to have been 'quietly axed' by the Beeb.
A source told The Sun: “Take Off was filmed before the pandemic when travel was much easier.
"Now, it’s more difficult with so many restrictions. It didn’t land with viewers who were grounded.
"However, Holly and Bradley loved working together and had amazing on-screen chemistry.”
Last summer, Bradley, 61, admitted: “If I am brutally honest I do not know the rules of the game.
"I leave that to Holly —- she is the nuts and bolts of it all. Holly is brilliant at that stuff.”
This Morning host Holly is currently working on a host of TV programmes as she branches out from ITV daytime including BBC1’s Freeze the Fear With Wim Hof, with comedian Lee Mack, 53.
This sees celebrities push themselves to their limits in freezing conditions under the watchful eye of Wim Hof, also known as The Iceman as he specialises in cold therapy.
She also recently fronted ITV's The Games alongside Freddie Flintoff, which saw celebrities train and compete in athletic challenges.
The week-long series had mixed reviews from viewers at home.
And after clocking up about 2 million viewers on its Monday night launch, ratings have begun to slide, with 500,000 viewers dropping off by Tuesday.
Other fans at home noticed that spectators at the live show were getting up and leaving before the end of the programme.
They were sent back to their seats and told to wait until the credits rolled.
One person who was there during the filming of the show said: "Quite a few people just started getting up, even though we were asked to wait until the end.
"The show was still going on... it wasn't just a handful, it was noticeable," they added.
The show wasn't a totally new creation, it first came to screens 16 years ago on Channel 4 but was axed after four series.

Meanwhile, Bradley has hosted ITV afternoon show The Chase since 2009 and has gone off to work on spin off show Beat The Chasers.
Take Off wasn't the first time that the pair had worked together, they presented comedy sports show Play to the Whistle from 2015 to 2017.
Before the launch of their 2021 show Bradley said: "It’s great working with Holly, it’s fantastic, I’m not just saying that because she’s here and she’s my mate but I absolutely mean it."
