Holly Willoughby looked back on top form and in good spirits as she swapped the This Morning studio for the trading floor. The presenter spent her morning yesterday doing her day job alongside Phillip Schofield as she fronted the ITV daytime show before heading across the capital for a charity appearance.
Holly, who has been facing heavy backlash after she and Phillip were accused of jumping the public queue to see the Queen lying in state four days before her state funeral last week, was among the celebrities taking over the trading floor at BGC Partners brokerage company on Thursday (September 29).
She was supporting Together For Short Lives, for whom she is a patron, at the annual event in honour of the 9/11 attacks. The 41-year-old even received a round of applause after she made around £20,000 on a single trade.

Mum-of-three Holly, who was snapped wearing a maroon jumper and tartan skirt, also made the trading floor laugh after she attempted to put the phone down on a laptop holder. She was heard saying: "I really do not know what I am doing. It feels wrong just putting it down."
After sorting another trade which made £3,000, Holly told client on the phone: "I am amazed you understood what I said." And she later told a BGC organiser: "I am learning words I have never heard of. Everyone has looked after me, especially Slug over there. That is his name."
At another point Holly was ambushed by friend and TV personality Keith Lemon while making a trade before she told him for frightening her. The Celebrity Juice star then told the trading floor: "We used to work together before she left me." It comes a day after Keith defended his former co-star after he bumped into her while at ITV for an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
After appearing on the early morning show, Keith managed to bump into his old pal Holly Willoughby ahead of her latest stint on This Morning. The pair posed for a selfie which the TV star then shared to social media alongside a cute comment. "Bumped into my old pal Holly this morning. Missed her loads."
However, the comments section was flurried with comments referencing Holly and Phillip's 'queue jump' drama. And Keith wasn't letting them all go and spent some time replying to some. One said: "Q jumper," which led Keith to reply: "I’m not wearing a jumper I’ve got a jacket on." Another said: "Queue the jokes," and he responded: "I don’t know any." But @Sean_Boon said: "Keep smiling Holly," to which Keith replied: "Was lovely to see her."
Speaking about Together For Short Live, Holly said: "I am a mum, I have children, their health is everything and I never take that for granted. I do not know what life will throw at me but what we do want to know is there is people working behind the scenes to help." She has since posted on Instagram, sharing photos with some of the families the charity supports.
"I am beyond thrilled to be back with @togetherforshortlives at the @bgccharityday for an amazing day of fundraising..." Holly typed. "As a proud patron for Together for Short Lives, this day means the world to me… and not just because I get to play broker extraordinaire. I know what a difference the money we raise will make will support their vital work, like helping more grieving families have the chance to get a Butterfly Fund grant.
"The Butterfly Fund is a financial gift for families who have cared for a seriously ill child and had to face up to the heartbreak of saying goodbye. No parent should have to worry about money when their child dies. Our fundraising today will help make sure they don’t have to…" She also shared a link to Together For Short Lives' fundraising page.
