Holly Willoughby all smiles as she attends first public event amid Phil 'feud'

Holly Willoughby appeared to put her personal woes to the back of her mind as she attended The Prince's Trust Awards in London.

In recent days, her personal and work life has been thrown into turmoil after it emerged that she and her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield have fallen out.

Sources claim that Holly, 42, has distanced herself from Phillip and was left astonished when she learnt through the press that his brother was on trial.

Despite their ongoing drama, the blonde star and Phillip, 61, have appeared on screens together, with many people finding it extremely awkward to watch the ITV magazine show.

Holly looked sensational as she stepped out at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane in London, hours after appearing on This Morning.

Opting to ensure all eyes would be on her, Holly slipped into a figure-hugging red gown that wrapped perfectly around her waist, showing off her gym-honed curves.

Accessorising her look, Holly chose a striking pair of black stiletto shoes, while opting for a minimal and natural makeup look as her cheeks glistened under the sun while her pink blusher stood out.

Meanwhile, Holly decorated her plump pout with a small amount of lipgloss while her blonde tresses were swept back in loose natural waves.

The TV superstar has been putting on appearances alongside Phillip despite being left completely left in the lurch by her friend after he shared a public statement.

Sources claim that Holly had no idea that Phillip was preparing to make their feud public and he admitted things hadn't been easy for the pair in recent weeks.

Now, insiders suggest that the star is finding the gossip behind-the-scenes of This Morning and the ITV corridors to be "toxic".

Speaking to Closer magazine, a source claimed: "She's been finding all the backstage gossip really tough and toxic.

"All the controversy over 'queue-gate and the constant rumours about being replaced on the show have taken the shine off it all for Holly.

"She doesn't want stress in her professional life and she knows it doesn't have to be like this."

Meanwhile, bosses at ITV are believed to be locked in crisis talks to discuss Phil's future at the network just months before his contract is up for renewal in September.

Should he and Holly not appear to be their "old selves" on screens, top dogs have not ruled out axing up or not renewing his contract.
