Holidaymaker stranded without her teeth after P&O Ferries sack their staff

A holidaymaker panicked as she was left stranded without her false teeth after leaving them on a P&O ferry.

Kash Henry, 31, had spent an enjoyable day touring Rotterdam with her friend Heidi when the latter realised something was wrong. Video shows the moment Heidi panicked - as it dawned on her that she had left her false teeth on board the overnight ferry and feared she had lost her false teeth forever.

The video was filmed last week (March 17) - the day it was revealed P&O Ferries had sacked 800 British crew across its entire fleet due to cut costs. In the video, Kash said: "We're all stranded because P&O haven't turning up and Heidi has left her teeth on the boat."

Heidi said: "And we don't know when we are going to get our things off the boat I don't think." Kash added: "She's left her teeth."

Luckily, Heidi was reunited with her teeth hours later - but not before she had a hilarious moment of panic that they were gone forever.

School playworker Kash said: "It was a nightmare for her, but it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Everyone was stressing getting texts from family about P&O sacking staff and she was panicking about her lost teeth.

"The way she shouted, 'my teeth! My teeth!' had us and all the other passengers howling. She was so happy when she got her teeth back and gave us a big smile with them - it was really something to remember!"

The pair, who were on a Northern Soul Mini Cruise with Kash's mum and sister, had travelled overnight Wednesday from Hull to Rotterdam. They were due to travel back on the same boat Thursday night - but Kash and Heidi began to panic while they were waiting for the coach back to the boat.

Kash, from Hinckley, Leics., said: "We hadn't heard anything, but then started getting lots of messages from family about everything kicking off at P&O. We started to think the coach and boat might not be coming and we would be stranded there.

"That was when Heidi shouted, 'my teeth! My teeth!'. She looked like she might cry, but we were too busy laughing."

Luckily, after almost an hour, their coach did turn up to return them to the ferry port. Horrified Heidi was reunited with her teeth the same day after all.

Kash said: "When we got back onto the boat, Heidi was so excited - she put them straight in. Then she flashed this huge smile with her teeth. The panic had been unbelievable for her - they're really expensive to replace.
