Hallmark Channel is going all out for the 15th anniversary of their wildly popular Countdown to Christmas celebration with a very special all-new original movie. Holiday Touchdown: A Chief's Love Story teams Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs in a holiday partnership for the ages.
The movie, which is set to begin production in August 2024, will be filmed entirely in Kansas City, home of Hallmark and the Chiefs, and will feature iconic locations like GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. And yes, there will be a Kelce family member involved, too.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story premieres Saturday, November 30, at 8 pm ET/PT during Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas 2024 celebration.

Derrick (Tyler Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement, is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against the other two finalists. As the pair spends time together, it’s clear there’s a spark between them but when her grandfather's (Ed Begley Jr.) vintage Chiefs, good luck winter hat goes missing, Alana begins to doubt everything she believed about fate, destiny and even questions her future with Derrick – unless, that is, a little Christmas magic can throw a Hail Mary. Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story features Tyler Hynes (Shifting Gears, Three Wise Men and a Baby) as Derrick, Hunter King (Two Scoops of Italy, The Santa Summit) as Alana and Ed Begley Jr. (Young Sheldon, Better Call Saul) as Alana's grandfather. Diedrich Bader (Office Space) also stars.
Hallmark also announced that supermom Donna Kelce, mother to Chiefs' star Travis Kelce, will also appear in the movie.
