A former resident of a popular NSW holiday park is being investigated for allegedly sexually assaulting a number of young boys four decades ago.
The attacks allegedly happened at a holiday park in Wisemans Ferry in the Hawkesbury region, northwest of Sydney.
"Police have been told between the years 1982 and 1987, a resident of a holiday park allegedly sexually assaulted a number of young boys," NSW Police said in a statement on Thursday.
Detectives attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command established Strike Force Twill in October to investigate the reports.
Police are appealing for anyone who holidayed in the area at that time and witnessed suspicious behaviour to contact them.
