Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg says he is not worried about the 'incredible' Steven Bergwijn following the Tottenham winger's dramatic double at Leicester City.
Bergwijn came off the bench to score twice within 79 seconds in added time at the end of the game and deliver a last-gasp victory at the King Power Stadium for Antonio Conte's men.
The Dutchman and his team-mates ran to the euphoric travelling Tottenham fans after the winning goal and again at the final whistle.
Hojbjerg, who also impressed in the centre of the pitch and was involved in both of Bergwijn's goals, said there was only one place the players were going to run to.
"First of all emotionally it was very high and low, you go from two minutes away from a loss to two minutes later actually winning the game, so in that way the spirit, the mentality, the courage to play forward and attack not just for the draw but for the win, I have to pay compliment to the whole team," he said.
"Also how the away fans pushed us, we really felt them through the whole game so it was only correct how we celebrate the third goal, going to them and enjoying everyone together.
"That is what football is all about, they are supporting us and we are here fighting for them and how it came together at the end was a massive joy."
On feeling a connection with the fans, he added: "Honestly we did and that is why we celebrated like we did, for them and us a massive joy and to share that the joy becomes even bigger. A big compliment to everyone who had Spurs in their heart in the stadium."
Bergwijn has struggled with injuries this season and has been linked with a move to Ajax despite plenty of praise from Conte, but Hojbjerg believes nobody has to worry about the Dutchman.
"We all love Stevie, I don't know what more to say," he said. "We all know he has incredible quality, I am not worried for him."
Spurs now sit fifth in the Premier League and could climb all the way up to third if they were to win three of their four games in hand over Chelsea, starting this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
Under Conte, Spurs are yet to lose a Premier League match in their nine games with the Italian at the helm.
"It is step by step and at the end of the season we can talk about the left or right," said Hojbjerg. "It is step by step, we are working well, everyone is focused, it is a demanding period but we are ready to suffer and improve.
"It is good, we are on the right way but there is room for improvement."
On the importance of the manner of victory at Leicester, the Dane added: "Obviously it is three points like any other game but hopefully also in terms of spirit and mentality and confidence for the team it is a bit more than three points.
"It is three points, but from an emotional point it felt a bit more than three points.
"This is the beautiful part of football and hopefully we can try to make this a very big step.
"It is three points like any other game but emotionally it is much more than that and we have to take a lot from this game and try to build on this."
