Hogwarts Legacy is available now to those who preordered the deluxe edition. It is already popular on Twitch, with streamers already playing the game for their community. Whether you watch these streamers or not, it might be worth tuning into one over the coming weeks. If you do, you can grab some exclusive Hogwarts Legacy items to customize your character.
This guide will let you know how to link your accounts, and the rewards you can get in Hogwarts Legacy for doing so.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to earn exclusive Twitch drops
The first thing you will need to do is set up a WB Games account, if you don’t have one already. All you need is a valid email address in order to do this. From here, you can go to your account settings and navigate to connect. This is where you can log into Twitch and link the two accounts.
Once you have done this you will need to go to your Twitch account settings. Here you will see an option to enable or disable Twitch drops, so make sure this is switched on. In order to earn rewards, you need to watch streamers playing under the Hogwarts Legacy category from now until Feb. 24, 2023.
You can earn a reward for every 30 minutes you watch a Hogwarts Legacy stream, and there are four to collect. Make sure to claim each reward as soon as it drops, to start the timer for the next item. You can also get a bonus reward if you watch 20 minutes of the official Avalanche Software Twitch Channel.
You’ll need to go into your Drops & Rewards page on Twitch to claim them or click the Claim button when a notification that you earned a reward appears during a stream. You can quickly check your progress towards a reward by clicking your profile icon.
