As soon as early access started in the early hours of Tuesday, the game broke the record for the most live viewers of a single-player game on Twitch, at times being watched by more than 1.2m people on the streaming platform, Metro reported. The reviews for the open-world video game – set in the Wizarding World of the Harry Potter franchise – suggest it lives up to the hype.

PC gamers can get a great deal on Hogwarts Legacy by preordering it on Steam via Green Man Gaming’s preorder deal, IGN reported. The site is currently offering a 15 percent discount on both the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game.
The Standard Edition comes in at just £42.49, while the Deluxe Edition costs £50.99 and is available to play now.

For console gamers, Currys is offering an amazing discount for those looking to bag a physical copy of the game. When preordering Hogwarts Legacy for either the PS5 or Xbox Series X, customers simply need to enter the code HOGWARTS20 at the checkout to receive a whopping 20 percent discount.
This knocks £12.00 off the usual £59.99 price, bringing it down to just £47.99.
