An idyllic eco-cabin in Wales is the ultimate countryside getaway for couples or families, according to TripAdvisor reviewers.
The luxury boltholte at Treberfedd Farm, near Lampeter, is the place to go if you want to immerse yourself in nature without compromising on home comforts.
Octagonal property ‘Saffir’ has received a number of glowing reviews and even been praised for providing the ‘most relaxing holiday ever’ by one TripAdvisor reviewer.
Other posts have described it as a ‘little piece of heaven’ and ranked it ‘11 out of 10’ – and it’s easy to see why.
Built directly into the hillside, the luxury glamping accommodation has been designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape with a meadow grass roof and frame made from local Welsh timber.

The pastoral paradise, which is often described as a ‘Hobbit house’, features large octagonal windows with scenic views of the green hills.
According to the Treberfedd website, Saffir and its sister cabin, Aerona, were inspired by the ‘Shire’ in J. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit .
As well as a unique design and stunning views of the Aeron valley, this hidden gem also boasts 67 acres of organic farmland and meadows right on its doorstep.
Despite being powered by green electricity and built from natural materials, the cabin is replete with amenities, aesthetic geometric furnishings and thoughtful touches such as hand-embroidered cushions.
There’s also a wood-burning stove indoors to warm you up on cooler nights, as well as a Swedish wood-fired hot tub in the garden that’s perfect for star-gazing.
One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “We really cannot recommend this accommodation enough.

“We have just returned from the best holiday we have had in many years.
“The accommodation is gorgeous both stylish and immaculately clean and the view from the cabin is idyllic.”
Another added: “The views from the house were outstanding and regular visits from passing sheep kept our girls amused for hours.”

The glamping destination’s proximity to the stunning coastal walks and secluded coves along Cardigan Bay, as well as Aberaeron and New Quay, was repeatedly highlighted in reviews.
The owners behind the remote staycation spot, meanwhile, were praised for their fantastic service.

Treberfedd Farm, which is run by farm manager Jack Cockburn, previously won a Soil Association Organic Award in 2014, in the Best Organic Places to Stay category.
The site also houses a farm trail, playground, climbing wall, ‘welly walk’ and pizza oven, as well as numerous free-range hens, sheep, cows and pigs.
