HMRC's big boozy beer bash

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and how better to celebrate than host a big piss-up somewhere sunny?

That’s what HMRC appears to have done. In its recent expenses disclosures, the government body said it spent nearly £3,000 on a ‘conference’ called Offshore Ale.
