A cyclist was thrown from his bike in a suspected hit and run at a beauty spot.
The victim was cycling on Beal level crossing, which leads to the Holy Island Causeway, Lindisfarne, at around 3.30pm on November 5 when he was hit by a car - believed to be a white Vaxuhall family car.
He was thrown from his bike by the impact.
The car left the scene without stopping and the victim was unable to record its number plate. He was wearing a bright red top and had a rucksack on his back at the time and thankfully suffered just minor injuries.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “We are urging anyone with information regarding the incident which could assist police to contact us via our website.”
