Police are investigating after a car was reportedly "deliberately driven towards" a man on an e-scooter, leaving him with serious injuries. Officers say the alleged hit-and-run occurred at 11pm on Vassall Road, in Fishponds, on Tuesday July 19.
According to the police, the car did not stop at the scene and the victim was taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police say.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary is seeking witnesses and any dashcam or other footage as it investigates the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.

A police statement reads: "Witnesses describe a car apparently deliberately being driven towards the man, 19, who was riding an electric scooter on the road at the time. The driver of the car – described as a red Skoda – failed to stop.
"The victim went to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. Thankfully they are not believed to be life-threatening. We’ve carried out house-to-house enquiries as part of our ongoing investigation.
