A historic building in the heart of Derby city centre which is currently used as offices has been put on the market.
FHP Property Consultants has been appointed to market the Grade II-listed building, in Becket Street.
Currently, the property consists of a mix of open plan and cellular accommodation, spanning over two floors.
Overall, the building, which is available to buy at a guide price of £245,000, offers more than 3,500 sq ft of space.
Darran Severn, from FHP Property Consultants, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a self-contained office building in Derby city centre.
“The property benefits from a short-term income and has potential to be developed in the future.
“As the city centre evolves, we are seeing more properties in this category being converted into student and residential accommodation. I look forward to speaking with interested parties.”
The property is currently occupied by an organisation called Twenty Twenty, which works with young people to help give them the confidence, personal resources and skills to move forward in their education and find sustainable employment.
The Becket Street property is one of two ‘Lifeskills’ centres operated by Twenty Twenty. The other is in Leicester. The organisation has been in its Derby building since October, 2015.
